Test Item Creation - Edit item in Existing Test and Rescoring.

When making changes to items that are already in existing tests, please be aware of the following:

1. If you change the text or formatting in the Question Stem, Answer Choices or Rationales, those changes will automatically be reflected the next time that test is printed or given online, for both existing and future test administration windows.
   
   
2. If you change the Correct Answer(s) on a Selected Response item (Multiple Choice or Multiple Select):
   • A). For new/future test administration windows, it will automatically reflect the updated changes.
   • B). For existing test administration windows/results, your changes will NOT automatically reflect/change results. Please contact IO Assessment Support to Rescore existing test administrations.
     
     
3. If you change the Rubric on any Constructed Response item (Constructed Response, Drawing, Drag n Drop, Auto Score Constructed Response or Equation Numeric):
   • A). For new/future test administration windows, make a copy of the test, remove the CR item, re-add that same CR item from an item bank, or…you can contact EADMS Support to Rebuild existing test.
   • B). For existing test administration windows/results, your changes will NOT automatically reflect/change results. Please contact IO Assessment Support to rebuild and rescore existing test administrations.
