Student Online Testing

These instructions will show how a student will log into and take an online test.

Go to https://www.eadms.com in your browser. Click Online Testing.

Enter your Student ID and the Session ID your teacher has provided. Click Login.

If your teacher does not provide a Session ID, enter only your student ID and click the “Login” button. This will take you to a page where you should be able to select the test you need to take.

When the teacher tells you to begin . . . Click Begin Test.

Jump to another question on the test by using the drop down OR Click Prev or Next

Zoom in or Out 

Click and the flag will turn red so you will know you need to come back to this question later. 

Click for more tools. 

Notepad: Adds a notepad to the current question.
Highlight Selection: Select text and choose this option to highlight your selection.
Reset Highlighting: To remove the highlight from your selection.

Strikethrough. Highlight an answer choice and right click with your mouse.

Click Logout. To log out of the test and save your work.

Click Save. To save your work.

This button only appears on pages with multiple questions. Your answers are automatically saved every time you click Next.

Click Finish. When you have completed your test.

This button takes you to the “Review your Answers” page where you can check your answers and return back to the questions to make changes. This does NOT submit your test.

Review Your Answers.

Blue: You have answered this question.
Red: You have flagged this question.
Gray: You have not answered this question.

You can make changes to any question by clicking the Change Answer link.

Click Submit. When you are completely finished with your test.

This button submits your test and your scores will now be available in iO Assessment for your teacher to review.

If protracter is available it will look like this and works the same as the ruler. 

Drawing (Constructed Response)

Use the tool bar to select a drawing tool, shape or color and click inside the gray area to begin drawing.

Constructed Response

Click in the box and start typing.

If you see this icon pop up when you click in a text box,  you can click on it to enable these extra tools which allow you to add equations to your answer.

Highlightable
Hover over the text and answer choices will turn a light blue. Click on an answer choice to select it.

Inline Dropdown 

Click on Select to select your answer from the list. 

Autoscore Constructed Response

Click in the boxes and type your answers.

Equation Numeric (autoscore)

Use the onscreen keyboard to enter your answer.

Drag and Drop

Click on an object and drag it into position.
Drag Objects selected by default.
Click Remove Object then click on an object to remove.
Click Clear Objects to remove all objects.

2 Part EBSR (Evidence Based Selected Response)

Select an answer in both parts.

Table Matching

Click on a box to select it.

Ordering

Click and drag to the correct order.

Passages

If questions have a passage to read in order to answer the them, the passage will appear to the left and all the questions for that passage will appear on the right.
