STANDARDS BASED REPORTS: In Depth Report Suite
There are two paths to get to the Standards Based Reports suite:
Classroom Based Reports: STANDARD SUMMARY
Key Questions
- How did your class perform overall?
- Which students need additional support?
Navigation
Go to Select Reports dropdown > select ‘Standard Summary.’
Purpose
Shows overall assessment performance.
Tips

To view a class summary or student list (above image), use Quick Options:
- Student = student by student list
- Teacher = class summary

To add a graph, cutpoints must be applied to the test/test key prior to administration
Classroom Based Reports: BY STANDARD
Key Questions
-
Which standard(s) performed best? Why?

Which standard(s) performed lowest? Why?

How/when will you address/reteach low performing standards?
Navigation
Standards Based Reports > go to Select Reports dropdown > select ‘By Standard.’
Purpose
Shows lowest performing standard at top, highest at bottom.
Tip
In the ‘Qn’ column, click a blue question # to drill into specific questions (this will take you to the Item Detail report).
Classroom Based Reports: BY ITEM
Key Questions
- Which questions performed best? Why?
- Which questions performed poorest? Why?
- Which need to be reviewed with class?

Standards Based Reports > go to Select Reports dropdown > select ‘By Item.’
Purpose
Overall class performance, question-by-question.
Tip
In the ‘% Correct’ column, click to sort and identify high/low performing questions.
Classroom Based Reports: ITEM DETAIL
Key Questions
- How did students respond? What answers did they choose?
- What distractors (wrong answers) were chosen by most students? Why?
- How can the results be used to differentiate instruction?
- What are instructional next steps?
Navigation
Standards Based Reports > go to Select Reports drop down > select ‘Item Detail.’
OR
Click the blue item number (drill down) from ‘By Standard’ or ‘By Item’ reports.
Purpose
Shows student answer choices and item rationales.
Tip
Click response percentages to see students who chose that response (this will take you to the Item Detail report).
Classroom Based Reports: STUDENT RESPONSES
Key Questions
- How did students respond?
- What answers did they choose?
Navigation
Standards Based Reports > go to Reports dropdown > select ‘Student Responses.’
Purpose
Shows overall student performance and responses to each question.
Student Based Reports: STUDENT RESPONSES
Key Questions
- Where is a mini-report I can pass back to students?
Navigation
Go to Select Reports dropdown > select ‘Student Responses.’
Tip
To create mini reports for students, select List at top of report > download to PDF, then cut into strips.
Student Based Reports: STUDENT PERFORMANCE
Key Questions
- Where can I get a full-page student report with overall and standard performance?
Navigation
Go to Select Reports dropdown > select ‘Student Performance.’
Purpose
Comprehensive student performance. Ideal for printing for parents/guardians or students.
Tips
- View by standard: At top of report, select By Standard.
- Download to PDF to print for parents/guardians or students.
- Due to student data privacy, do not choose the option to email the report.
